The City of Havana is the capital of the country and from his foundation in 1519 it almost became the main commercial, economic center and of communications due to his favored location in front of the Straits of Florida and to his it magnifies bay.

Nowadays the city is the main seat for the tourism in the island supported in its centennial history, in the beach existence of magnifies quality, an incredible cultural wealth in which it emphasizes Old the colonial center of Havana and its mixture of architectonic styles. To this it is united a powerful tourist infrastructure with but of 10000 rooms in hotels and inns and hundreds in deprived houses, the best ones and but made famous restaurants and "paladares" of the country, nocturnal tens of night clubs, discotecas and other centers like the famous Tropicana night club, navy and facilities for all type of sports, golf courses, around 30 museums, 10 galleries of art and near 20 theaters, that do it, also, the cultural center of the country.

Of all the cities of the world that we have had the great luck to know, because all is beautiful for a reason or another one, is Havana of the only one that difficulty costs to speak to us.

It is not lack of information, far from it of words, is that Havana is our city of origin and therefore our favourite. But we are going to treat, and if we exaggerated just a little bit, good, for us, even of knees as many of the recent photos indicate, it is of all most beautiful.

The capital of Cuba is not only Havana, is one of the most attractive cities of the world. During his years of splendor it was admiration center, as much for the children of the Américas like for those of Europe and Asia. Their boulevards and avenues are ample and elegant, and also it has narrow and likeable streets. Their constructions are as much old, some of several centuries in the centric sector, to extremely modern; in the decade of the 1950 the buildings already began to acquire more than thirty floors of height and the architecture of the houses was extreme modern and stunning.

Tropical earth, like all the rest of Cuba, was fresh and perfect the summers in Havana to enjoy their near beaches. For a party of ball or any other sport in one of its so many parks and gardens. Or perhaps simply to seat to talk and to see the time to happen in some vestibule.

Nevertheless they were its autumns, with puttings of the sun that the artists do not even manage to paint or to sing, and his invier the ideal time to us to take a walk and to fiestar. The cold never gets to congeal, but by very light that outside always was the equal excuse without shining the new suits and shelters. The city was a pure carnival all the year. If it were not a celebration of then birthday they were quinces to all finery, clear nothing like Christmases or the own Carnivals of Havana. Because according to all those that had the luck of being able to be present at both, most successful they were those of Santiago of Cuba. We did not deny the reason to him, but those of Havana were fabulous.

Thus it is Havana, and of thousand forms more. Each street, each corner, like in all the cities of the world, has its history, its longed for memories and many more better forgotten. Every one observes it its way of being. Perhaps we know very well perhaps that they are few, but are many, those that appreciate it as our eyes see it. It really does not matter, because that is what has this charming city, that is noble and abundant as its source indicates it. Always cosy, in the its good and its worse ones, as much to the natural one as to the foreigner.

That is Havana that we remembered, but we could not say to him if it even is thus, because many of the photos no longer demonstrate the splendor that once it had. As we already mentioned, our city, Havana, are of knees, but we continued wanting it like a no other.
