Custard (Natilla)





Ingredients
• 3 cups of milk
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• 4 tsp cornstarch
• 1/4 cup water
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 4 egg yolks
• 1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions
1. Heat 1 cup milk, cinnamon, until boiling. Remove from heat and dissolve cornstarch in water.
2. Dissolve cornstarch in water mix the remaining cold milk and cornstarch solution.
3. Mix egg and yolk together in cold milk and add the hot milk mixture. Heat over medium heat until thick and stir constantly.
4. Remove from heat when thicken and add vanilla extract and mix well. Allow to cool and serve chilled.
